Never in my wildest dreams would i have guessed that i would like Science Fiction.. Thankfully i gave this book a try.. It was so incredibly well written & researched that i found myself wondering and what was real and what was not. Not wanting the book to end, i limited myself as to how much i allowed myself to read at a sitting. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who likes to read. I'm a lover of Jack McDevitt, Stephen Baxter, Bradbury, King, Clark, and Heinlein. If there's one thing Anderson really does right its pay homage to the greats with a superbly written sci fi tales. The plot grips you and pulls you in, and his vivid descriptions are a pleasure to read. Its always a pleasure to read somebody other than the masters who can spin a real yarn. I'd write more, but I wouldn't want to spoil anything. Check out the Roswell Chronicles.
I really enjoyed these Science Fiction short stories and I'm definately looking forward to other books and stories by this author. I am new to Science Fiction but this has been a great introduction for me.

For me, the standout story in this collection is "The Catch" and it's well worth the price of the entire book. In "The Catch," Anderson creates a unique world and brings it to life with astounding and extremely vivid imagery. I would love to read more about the plights of this world, and should Anderson choose to fill an entire book with more stories about its characters, I would buy in a heartbeat.
